About Us:
I am Jim Shaffer and I’m married to a wonderful woman, Anne (or “E” since her name is misspelled a LOT). We have been married since 1996. We have three kids, BKS, PRS, and HRS as well as two dogs, Cheyenne and Jackson, and Serina, our cat.
We are a homeschool family devoted to giving our children a Christ-like education. We feel like it is our responsibility to raise our children, not the state’s. We believe that God has called us each for a purpose and our current purpose is to raise our kids to love and adore Him and be a light among the darkness. Public schools simply don’t offer those opportunities, in fact, it is not only discouraged, but in many cases against the rules.
My Professional Experience:
In addition to being our homeschool principle and part-time story teller, I am a project manager. I am PMI (Project Management Institute http://www.pmi.org) certified as a PMP (Project Management Professional) and have a certificate in project management from Colorado Christian University (http://www.ccu.edu). I have experience in Itegrated Logistics Support (ILS), documetnation, and IT. I also have a familiarity in the management of production of industrial equipment.

The Lord has blessed me in many ways and spared me from a life seperated from him. While I am not a preacher by any means, I will sometimes offer insghts that I have gained and feel like sharing. I hope you don’t take any of my articles as me looking down my nose at you if something hits a little close to home. Remember, I will be writing of my experiences which means I’m sitting beside you at all times as a brother in Christ and fellow “screwer-upper.”
